Shipping and Handling
Our online store, Cowboy Rocketry, will compute correct shipping charges for domestic shipping within Canada. We offer several shipping options and typically ship with Purolator, Canada Post, United Parcel Service (UPS), FedEx, and Canpar.
Canada Post, Purolator, and Canpar provide tracking numbers and are insured. Please note that while we may process orders, we do not ship on Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays.
Please Note: We can ship to PO Boxes or other similar boxes. However, there must be a person to accept the package and sign-off upon delivery.

Shipping Across Canada:
Shipping is very fast and free on orders over $139 across Canada since we ship from Calgary, AB. All products, including motors and rocket kits, are shipped from Canada within 24-72 hours if they are in stock during weekdays.
Pricing for shipping options will be presented before you finish your checkout. All the items in our store are weighed properly so when you check out, it will compute the correct shipping charges for you and present you with your list of shipping options. If you place items in your shopping cart and start the checkout process, you can see what the shipping charges will be without needing to complete an order.
Orders placed by 2:00 p.m. MST usually ship the same day; however, during holidays or unexpected spikes in order volume, it may take us a bit longer to get your order out. On average, items will be shipped out within 1-2 business days at the latest, but we typically fulfill orders as soon as possible. If an order is placed on a weekend, the order gets shipped out on Monday morning. You will receive your tracking number via email as soon as it is available.
If any of the items in your order come from our US warehouse, you will receive your tracking number by the following Saturday or Monday, typically 8-10 business days after your order if there are no delays. Due to border inspections, especially for batteries, it could take an additional 5 business days.
We offer an optional rush order service for an extra fee. Please contact us here for details.
Orders from the US warehouse have a $9.99 CAD Shipping & Handling Fee attached to cover a small portion of the logistics and costs associated with bringing rocketry products across the border into Canada.
Our goal is to provide you with the best possible price, and we appreciate your patience and positive attitude as we work to get your orders to you efficiently. The spirit of rocketry is all about having fun and doing what you love!

Please Note: We reserve the right to cancel an order based on logistical issues or any factor that could negatively impact the business, with or without the intent to do so. Refunds will be issued within 48 hours of the original transaction.
Processing time will be dependent on order volume. An estimated delivery date will be provided when you receive your tracking number. If the order status says “Complete,” it means that the transaction has gone through and the warehouse(s) have received the order to ship it out to you as soon as possible.
Express Delivery Services
If you need fast service, we can expedite your order. An estimated delivery date will be sent to you once the warehouse provides a tracking number. Our standard shipping method is Express Shipping, either through Purolator or Canada Post.
$139 Free Shipping!
Free Shipping applies to all merchandise sitewide exceeding $139 (excludes taxes, fees, & gift certificates). The offer applies to all eligible orders shipped within the southern provinces where multiple carriers are available. Orders eligible for Free Shipping will ship via the most cost-effective shipping method; usually, this will be ground shipping but may ship via air when applicable. Orders shipped using Free Shipping may take up to 10 business days for delivery. The offer may be used in conjunction with a promotional certificate; the qualifying amount is the total amount of the products purchased before the promotional certificate is applied. Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address or shipping method may affect your order’s eligibility for Free Shipping.

Some restrictions apply: Additional shipping charges apply to oversized boxes, excessive shipping weights, and hazardous materials such as fuel.
Interruption of Service
Cowboy Rocketry, Canada Post, Purolator, Canpar, or UPS shall not be liable for any interruption of delivery service due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to the absence of a person to accept the delivery, refusal of the consignee, force majeure, action of public authorities, customs issues, labor disputes, public disturbances, weather conditions, natural disasters, or other acts of God.

NOTE: There is a $15 Admin Cancellation Fee on any orders that are canceled to recover fees and the staff’s time for customer support during hours of operation. Orders placed over the weekend cannot be canceled since the staff does not return to work until Monday at 12 p.m. MST. Orders begin shipping from the warehouse(s) on Mondays at 8 a.m.
Additional Fees and Regulations
Government regulations require that we ship hazardous materials only within Canada. Shipments must be sent via Ground shipping. Additional fees may apply to hazardous materials. We have decided to sell specific rocket fuel on a quarterly basis for the time being. We sell all types of electric batteries year-round.
Provincial Shipping Rates:
- Atlantic Canada Rate (NB, NL, NS, PEI): $39.99 CAD
- Central Canada Rate (ON-QC): $29.99 CAD
- Northern Canada Rate (NT, NU, YT): $99.99 CAD
- Prairies (AB, SK, MB): $22.99 CAD
- Western Canada Rate (BC): $17.99 CAD
International Shipping
We only accept orders from Canada and DO NOT ship outside of the country.
What Shipping Service Do You Use?
Your shipping choices and pricing will appear during checkout and may include: Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, and DHL Express.
The shipping options and pricing for your order can be viewed during the online checkout through our website. Simply place the items you wish to purchase into your shopping cart and begin the checkout process. You will not be required to make your purchase at that time, but you will be able to view the shipping choices and pricing for your order.
Shipping options available will be dependent upon the weight of your order and the location we are shipping to.
Shipping/Order FAQs
Can you list a lower amount on my purchase order?
We cannot list any amount other than the actual amount paid by you on purchase orders, after any discounts. Please note that store credit is not a discount and is taxable. Please do not ask us to list a lower amount or list your order as a “gift,” as it would be illegal for us to do so.
Can You Provide Me With a Tracking Number?
Yes. Please be patient, as our staff is limited at the warehouse. We will send you the tracking number for your order within 2-15 business days of your purchase, depending on which warehouse it’s coming from and if it was back-ordered or not. Please read the note at the bottom of your order confirmation. If the item(s) are in stock, you will receive a tracking number within 48-72 hours from the Canadian warehouse.
How Much Will it Cost to Ship to Me?
The pricing for the shipping options will be presented to you before you finish your checkout. All of our products are weighed properly, so when you check out, the system will compute the correct shipping charges for you and present you with a list of shipping options. If you place some items in your shopping cart and start the checkout process, you can see what the shipping charges will be without having to complete the order. Orders over $139 are shipped for free across most of Canada, unless located in the Northern Provinces of NT, NU, and YT, where conditions apply.
Damaged Package Claims
If you receive your order and the package was damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. Customers with damaged packages can file a claim directly with us. Please contact us to complete our Damaged Package Claim Form and email it to us for review. Please keep all packaging (box, packing paper, etc.) for verification purposes. We may request that the damaged product(s) be shipped back to us for verification.
Lost Package Claims
Before we can file a claim for a lost package, we must allow the postal service the full time allotted for delivery. Here is the timetable for tracing lost packages:
- Express Mail: 10 business days from the day the order was shipped
- Priority Mail: 14 business days from the day the order was shipped
- First Class Mail: 21 business days from the day the order was shipped
If your package was not delivered within the time frames listed above, please contact us to complete a Lost Package Claim Form.
Please allow us 2 business days to contact the shipping carrier regarding your missing package.
Please DO NOT open a PayPal claim against the order, as this will further delay the process.
Return Policy
There is a 30-day window for returns based on the date of purchase. Return shipping is paid by the customer in full.
Returns:
- All returns are subject to a 50% restocking fee.
- All special orders are subject to a 60% restocking fee.
- Returned products must be unopened, and their packaging must appear to be new.
- No returns on any opened electronics. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- All items must be returned within 15 days of original delivery.
- All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase order.
- All returns must include a list describing the reasons for the return.
- All returns must pay the PayPal Refund Fee in full and are subject to a 5% admin fee on the total value of the order.
- All canceled orders must pay a $15 Admin Cancellation Fee to recover fees and the staff’s time for customer support.
- Special considerations for returns can be made upon further discussion with Cowboy Rocketry.
Refund Policy
Refunds usually take 2-3 business days after the product has been sent back and reviewed by our customer support staff.
- All returns must pay the PayPal Refund Fee in full and are subject to a 5% admin fee on the total value of the order.
Warranty Issues
Please contact Cowboy Rocketry customer service with concerns about faulty products that will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
- All warranty and product replacement issues are handled by the manufacturer of the product. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Cowboy Rocketry will assist with forwarding warranty items to the manufacturer upon request; however, the consumer remains responsible for all shipping charges and/or repair costs related to the product.
Backorder and/or Special Orders:
- Backorders that are not purchased within 1 day of arrival will be put back into regular stock.
- Special orders that are not taken within a 2-week period will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.
- Special considerations for backorders and special order items may be made upon further discussion with Cowboy Rocketry.
NSF/Canceled Payments:
- NSF or canceled payments will be charged $20 for each returned payment.
- Chargebacks on credit cards will be charged $20 for each instance.
Overdue Payments:
- All overdue payments will be charged 5% interest per month.
- All products remain the property of Cowboy Rocketry until paid in full.
